Study in Canada: Fanshawe College Fee and Finance

Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology, commonly shortened to Fanshawe College, is a public college in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. One of the largest colleges in the country with commitment to excellence in research and innovation. Its campuses are located in London, Simcoe, St. Thomas and Woodstock with additional locations in Southwestern Ontario.

The school offers more than 200 degree, diploma, certificate, graduate certificate and apprenticeship programs.

Tuition Fee

Tuition fees are established following the guidelines of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and includes a $500.00 non-refundable deposit.

Tuition fees: The breakdown for 2017/18

Year one – the fee payable to the College in 2017/2018 for year one (two levels) for most programs is $4,166.80. This includes the $2,934.76 Tuition Fee, the Incidental Fee, the Student Activity Fee, the Student Building Fee, the Athletics Fee, the Technology Fee and Health Insurance Fee. In addition, for appropriate programs, a Co-operative Education Fee and/or Program Specific Fee is charged.
Year two – the fee payable to the College in 2017/2018 for year two (two levels) for most programs is $4,166.80. This includes the $2,934.76 Tuition Fee, the Incidental Fee, the Student Activity Fee, the Student Building Fee, the Athletics Fee, the Technology Fee and Health Insurance Fee. In addition, for appropriate programs, a Co-operative Education Fee and/or Program Specific Fee is charged.
Year three or greater – the fee payable to the College in 2017/2018 for year three (two levels) for most programs is $4,166.80. This includes the $2,934.76 Tuition Fee, the Incidental Fee, the Student Activity Fee, the Student Building Fee, the Athletics Fee, the Technology Fee and Health Insurance Fee. In addition, for appropriate programs, a Co-operative Education Fee and/or Program Specific Fee is charged.
International students – the fee payable to the College by visa students for 2017/2018 for one year (two levels) is $14,911.22 for most programs. This includes the Tuition Fee, the Incidental Fee, the Student Activity Fee, the Student Building Fee, two Health Insurance Fees, the Technology Fee and the Athletics Fee. This fee may be adjusted for programs which are shorter or longer than the standard two level duration.
Fees for additional courses – overload fees – students who are in “overload” status or enrolled in courses which are additional to the normal program load will be assessed the standard hourly tuition fee established for part-time students for excess course hours. Payment for these hours is due immediately.
